Use your Email to send SMS Messages
Instantly send personalised SMS Messages - including attachments like PDF Documents from any email client with our Email to SMS gateway.
You can also attach files to your email, which can be delivered to recipients as downloadable links in the SMS messages. This allows you to provide additional information or resources to your customers conveniently. By using Email to SMS, you can contact your customers quickly and easily without the need to log in to our online SMS platform.
Send SMS from an email
To start using our Email to SMS feature, enable the option in your Vibe Active SMS account. Once you have enabled the option, just send an email to number@txtlocal.co.uk with your SMS message in the body of the email.
You can configure the send SMS API endpoint to send the SMS messages from the email address you used to register with Vibe Active SMS. You can also authorise Email to SMS use with other email addresses on your account.
Send SMS to contact groups
You can send SMS messages to an entire contact group with your Vibe Active SMS account. Each group has its unique email address similar to the following tlgrpXXXX@vibeactivemedial.com.

Send SMS securely
We take security and confidentially very seriously. We have developed a unique feature that lets you protect your Email to SMS feature with a password.
If you have switched this security feature on, simply add password=XXX to your email subject line and replace XXX with your Vibe Active SMS account password.
Custom Email to SMS
Have your SMS message addressed with your name, company or phone number. You can set up a default name within your Vibe Active SMS portal set it by adding sender=XXXX on your email subject line.
You can all remove your standard email footer content like your signature from your SMS messages by adding ## to the end of your email.
